Gallery: Indo Bank Zambia Partnership Event

Agriculture Tree Planting and Empowerment in Kanakantapa, Chongwe District ran alongside Indo Bank’s financial-literacy and account-opening drive, bringing villagers, leaders, and volunteers together to plant native and fruit trees that improve soil health, reduce erosion, and create future food and income sources.

Short demonstrations covered core tree-care and agroforestry practices, while organisers issued modest seed grants enabling kitchen gardens, poultry, beekeeping, and small trading ventures. Certificates recognised participation and unlock follow-up technical support.

Immediate outcomes included hundreds of saplings planted, empowered micro-grant recipients, and stronger community–partner ties. Next steps focus on joint tree-maintenance days, continued mentoring, and linking households to nearby savings groups.
