We Are a Nation - Work With Us

Restoring dignity, amplifying voices, and building inclusive communities

Promoting the rights, inclusion, dignity, and wellbeing of people with albinism, blindness, and other disabilities across Africa.

Albinism is an inherited condition that reduces or eliminates melanin in the skin, hair, and eyes, often leading to vision challenges and increased sensitivity to sunlight.

People with albinism need social support to reduce discrimination and improve quality of life.

Key awareness dates
  • International Albinism Awareness Day - 13 June
  • International Day of Persons with Disabilities - 3 December
  • 16 Days of Activism - 1-16 December

Awareness, protection, and inclusion help ensure equal access to health, education, and opportunity for all.
